Withdrawing STX From Native Staking Pool
How to Withdraw STX from the Native Staking Pool
Go to the Staking section of the app
Locate the "Native Staking" card under "Active Positions"
Click "Unstake" to request a withdrawal from the protocol
A pop-up will appear with two options:
Go back
Stop staking (this will initiate a transaction)
Once confirmed, your STX will unlock at the end of the current staking cycle, along with any rewards earned during that cycle.
STX goes through three phases in the staking process:
Available – Free to use
Delegated – Designated for staking, but not yet locked
Staked (Locked) – Actively participating in a staking cycle
In the delegated phase, STX has been prepared for staking but won’t be locked until the next cycle begins. Since you can’t join a cycle mid-way, the tokens remain usable during this time.
Example: If you delegate 100 STX a week before a cycle starts but later spend 50 STX, only the remaining 50 STX will be locked and staked when the cycle begins.
