# Withdrawing STX From Native Staking Pool

## How to withdraw STX from the native staking pool

## Go to Staking

Go to the **Staking** section of the app.

## Find your position

Find the **Native Staking** card under **Active positions**.

## Unstake

Click **Unstake**.

## Revoke delegation

A **Revoke Delegation** window explains when your STX unlocks. Click **Stop Staking** and approve the transaction in your wallet, or click **Back** to keep staking.

## What happens next

* Your STX stays staked until the current cycle ends, and you receive the rewards for that cycle.
* When the next cycle begins, your STX unlocks. It never left your wallet, so there is nothing further to withdraw.
* Until then, the Native Staking card shows **Unstaking**, along with the time left once it is known.

## Your rewards after unstaking

Rewards you have earned remain yours and are paid the way you chose:

* **If you claim yourself**, they stay on the **Bitcoin Rewards** card until you claim them.
* **If rewards are sent automatically**, they are sent as usual once the minimum is reached (1,000 sats for sBTC; for BTC, 10 times the Bitcoin network fee, which is 5,000 sats when fees are low). If what is left is below that minimum, click **Withdraw** on the **Native staking payout** tile to receive it in your Stacks wallet as sBTC.

## Good to know

* Unstaking, like staking, is paused during the prepare phase, the last \~100 Bitcoin blocks of each cycle (roughly 17 hours).
* Changed your mind? Until your STX unlocks you can stake it again: select Native Staking in the stake form and enter at least the amount that is unstaking.
* Stakes in the original Stacking DAO pool are unstaked in exactly the same way.
* If you stake again after unstaking from the Original Pool, the new stake goes to the V2 Pool, with the 5% fee.
